Without a good double entendre or two, most of today's sitcom episodes would never make it past the first three weeks. The networks are competing with let-it-all-hang-out cable. A suggestive glance to be sure the audience gets the real meaning of a phrase and it's giggles all around."Where's grandma?" "She went outside to hoe." "Whaaa?" Cue canned laughter.
But we get a little uncomfortable when such jokes go too far. We glance at any children in the room to see if they understand what's happening, or wait for them to explain why everyone else is laughing.
Burger King's newest low advertises a "super seven-incher" positioned before an open-mouthed woman that will "blow" you away. The fine print urges you to "fill your desire for something long and juicy..."

Like most BK ads over recent years, this one is aimed at the male audience. That creepy Burger King character who likes square butts creeps out most women, but apparently, men like him.
But not to worry, fellow Americans. The effort to link BK to BJs is supposedly aimed only at the Singapore market. I guess that makes it all OK.
